Medical Surgical Nurse New

Pride Health is hiring a RN MedSurg/Tele to support our client’s medical facility in Tyler, TX 75701. This is a 13-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary:

• RN MedSurg/Tele. 36 hours per week (3x12s; Nights: 7 pm to 7 am)

• BLS (AHA)

• NIH

• Active Texas RN License or compact state license

• Bachelors of science in nursing

RN MedSurg/Tele:

• Studying patients' medical history, test results, and treatment plans.

• Tracking routine heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry measurements.

• Monitoring, interpreting, and recording data from specialized medical technologies and equipment.

• Administering medication and performing treatment interventions in consultation with healthcare specialists.

• Maintaining and updating ward charts, patient files, and medical records.

• Instructing Telemetry Unit staff on patient care and treatment plans.

Experience required:

• Minimum of 2 years of MedSurg/Tele experience is required.

• Must have EPIC experience.

Skills Required: MS/Tele, Management of dysrhythmias, use of RR teams, Renal failure, blood product administration, central line management, peripheral line management, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin products, PCA, HFNC, Nasal cannula, Oxygen face masks, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac.

• Travel Weekly Pay: $1900/week to $2000/week
