Position Description
Adelphi is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to perform advanced vocational nursing services at a facility in Lubbock County, Texas. The ideal candidate will provide treatment, support, and general welfare services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and complex medical, mental health, and behavioral needs.

- Start Date: Flexible, pending completion of compliance and onboarding (requires 5 business days)
- Rate: $33–$36/hr
- Must hold a current, unencumbered LVN license issued in the State of Texas
- At least 1 year of nursing experience required; 2+ years preferred in long-term or developmental care
- Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Competency in advanced nursing skills (e.g. gastrostomy tubes, enteral feedings, Foley catheters, and tracheostomies)
- Must meet all immunization requirements as outlined by the agency and facility
- Must successfully pass a urine drug screen and background check (candidate's responsibility)
- Must successfully complete an FBI fingerprint background check (provided)
- COVID-19 testing with a negative result is required (testing provided)
- Completion of all pre-employment training mandated by the agency and facility
- Must present a valid photo ID and provide TB documentation at the time of interview
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines.
- Monitor patients’ health and promptly report changes to the supervising RN or physician.
- Accurately document care activities and complete computer-based data entry (training provided).
- Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory standards (e.g., ICF-IDD, facility SOPs).
- Deliver compassionate, person-centered care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Perform advanced nursing procedures including gastrostomy tubes, enteral feedings, Foley catheters, and tracheostomies.
