Position Description

Our client is currently seeking a Labor & Delivery RN

Location: Midland, TX

Contract Length: Minimum 13 weeks

Travel Experience: Not required (appropriate experience preferred)

Shift Coverage: 3x12s Days

Holiday Requirement: One holiday (eve and day)

About the Role

We’re seeking a compassionate, highly skilled Labor & Delivery RN to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-volume facility (200–300 births/month) and rotate through triage, antepartum, labor, circulate, and transition care. You’ll be instrumental in supporting high-risk deliveries and providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns during one of life’s most transformative moments.

Required Certifications

Must be current and active:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Preferred:

  • AWHONN Intermediate*
  • AWHONN Advanced*
  • FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring)*

Work Settings

  • Labor & Delivery
  • Antepartum (including High Risk*)
  • LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum)
  • Facility with 200–300 births/month*

Float Requirement

Yes — must be willing to float to Antepartum as needed.
